RACE REPORT #347 - October 18th 2025 (CMnm, SCnm, F1nm)
We had six drivers racing at our 347th event for our Clubman, Slot.It Challenge and F1 classes, a perfect turnout to ensure full grids, despite this number being reduced as the races counted down. Warren also brought along his daughter and fast-growing baby boy, who he quite amazingly is able to hold while driving! Merryl also came by for the lime and lent a hand with his usual marshalling. Even Mark dropped in briefly during our first boardroom meeting on his way to another engagement.
We ran two races for each of the three scheduled classes, Clubman, Slot.It Challenge and F1, the first race for each class having fully-subscribed grids. The second round of races saw diminished grids as Warren left and O'Brie eventually opted out, leaving the remaining driving to just four of us. The races themselves were quite close and competitive, any de-slotting mistakes made being quickly taken advantage of by others still running.
I unfortunately forgot to take a picture of the first Slot.It Challenge SSDC results, so we had no lap times to show for that race. Steve thankfully had recorded everything else on our paper document.
After an afternoon of exciting competition, we closed off with the now obligatory second boardroom meeting before everyone left for their respective homes.
Luke unfortunately was unable to attend, so we didn't get the usual array of sideline pictures and just have my two boardroom pics to start things off:
